As “London’s Global University,” University College London is the oldest and largest college within the University of London. According to the 2021 Research Excellence Framework, it is now ranked second in the UK and eighth overall in the world for research power. Over 40,000 students are enrolled at the University, which was founded in 1826, with 53% of them coming from outside the country.
